Grand Canyon
What is the grand canyon?
The Grand Canyon, is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in the state of Arizona in the United States. It is contained within and managed by Grand Canyon National Park, the Kaibab National Forest, Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument, the Hualapai Tribal Nation, the Havasupai Tribe and the Navajo Nation. The Grand Canyon is also considered one of the largest Canyons in the world, it is also one of the seven natural wonders in the world. The grand Canyon is estimated to be 466 km long in total and gets to a width of 29 km and a depth of almost 2 km in places.
